Frequently Asked Questions
What can I put on my business sign?
Almost anything you wish within reason, so long as it is not offensive, and does not contravene any local planning regulations. It needs to be relevant and not too long winded and on brand with any logos and colours you would normally use.
Please offer your ideas and we will advise accordingly.
What materials are used?
There are lots of choice of substrates, Plastic, Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Vinyl, Glass.
We are happy to discuss your project and survey your premises if required to advise which substrate might be most suitable.
How long does it take to create my businesses sign?
This will depend on its size and complexity, a small sign created in house could be next day, most shop signs are completed within a few weeks of artwork being finalised, though larger fabricated or powder coated signs can be 3-4 weeks.
Once we have a good brief of your project, we should be able to give a good estimation of completion date.
How can I order and what payment options are available?
Orders can be placed via email, by phone, via a site survey or by popping in to see us and have a chat about what you might require.
Payment can be via card in person or over the phone, or bank transfer or good old-fashioned cheques or cash if that is your preferred method.
What’s the process after I’ve ordered?
Once we have all the necessary detail from you, we will start the drawing process, to show you how your sign might look, for you to approve or amend as required before we start putting it into production. We will then set a date for completion and keep you best informed on its progress.
Do you install the sign?
Yes, we do, if you require us to do so.
Does my illuminated sign require tube lights or bulbs?
Most illuminated signs these days will use LED lighting rather than the older versions of tubes and bulbs. This should in most cases reduce regular maintenance or bulb changes.
